In this 60 minute Class we will strengthen our muscles and mobilize our joints and get blood circulating through our organs.

Your posture can improve through mobilizing your spine. We will work on strengthening as well on opening the front and back part of our body.

We will start with a comfortable seated meditation either on a yoga chair or on the floor- then we will practice some breathing exercises (Pranayama).: This will energize and relax the body.

Linking Breath and Movement together You will feel more vital and refreshed afterwards. 

Together we will gently warm up our body, joints and muscles before we practice yoga asanas (poses).

The use of props (Yoga tools) like Chairs, bolsters and blankets will ease us into poses so that we can feel more opening in our body and the benefit from each pose.

At the end of each class You will be rewarded with a final relaxing pose which will help to release tensions and help you to feel the benefits of your Yoga practice.

Yoga for over 60 Years old or Seniors has a variety of positive benefits for mind, body and soul. It can help to reduce certain chronic health symptoms, can improve balance, coordination and flexibility and can also provide relief from the daily routine.
