If You are looking for more restorative and gentle Yoga, then this might be your class.
Starting in a seated position, bringing awareness to your breath we will begin the class with breathing exercises (Pranayama) and try different meditation techniques to cultivate mindfulness and increase our awareness of the inner workings of the mind, so we can manage stress and live our life in a more present and fulfilling way.
We will then gently warm up and create a little heat. We use Yoga props such as bolster, blankets and Yoga blocks to support us in various poses, to ease us into Yoga asanas (pose). This will be more gentle on Your joints but you will absolutely feel more stretched and relaxed thereafter.
At the End you will be rewarded with a very relaxing final pose, before we start our day completely energized and vitalized.
This practice can be great for those looking to de-stress, recover from injury, or just calling for a slower paced practice.
